Quote, contract, and payment
Nature, family, and celebration are very important to us. This place we call Braidwater has been integral to all that. We would love to share it with you.
A custom quote will be developed for you and your party. This will be drawn up in a rental contract called “Braidwater Wedding Venue Rental Agreement”. It will reflect your choice of sites and packages.
A deposit of 50% of the total is required to book. The reminder is due 45 days in advance of the event. Cancellation on or before T-45 days results in a full refund. Cancellations after that time may be refunded only if rebooked. A sample contract is available upon inquiry.
We accept all major credit cards through Square.

guidance
We are members of the Montana Wedding Association. As such we adhere to the values of professionalism and best practices at Braidwater.
In that spirit we would like to share with you our policies which are designed to ensure a straightforward and smooth event planning process.
We require out of state couples to secure the services of a certified wedding planner to assist with their arrangements. The Montana Wedding Association at mymontanawedding.com has a list of qualified and experienced planners, some of whom are already familiar with the venue.
insurance
We retain our own insurance for both our wedding venue and our guest house/vacation rental. We also require couples to secure their own “ event insurance”. Several local insurers are familiar with this type of insurance and offer very reasonable rates.
subcontractors
The Flathead Valley is fast becoming a premium wedding destination. For this reason we have access to many local vendors providing high quality services to those planning there weddings here. These include companies which provide and handle tents, tables and chairs, as well as companies that provide linens, photographers, and musicians. We are able to recommend many options for each of these from our fellow members in the Montana Wedding Association. The Association vets its members and verifies their certifications and insurance so you can plan with confidence.
We also recommend our very own Bonjour Bakery and Bistro for all your wedding cake and catering needs.
